Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Our Commitment

At Market Mix Digital, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns and Refunds Policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.

2. Your Right to Return (CPA Section 56)

Under the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to return a product and receive a full refund, replacement, or repair if the product is defective, not of good quality, does not match the description provided, or is not suitable for its intended purpose.

You may exercise this right within 7 (seven) days of receiving the product, without penalty.

3. Cooling-Off Period (CPA Section 16)

If you purchased a product as a result of direct marketing, you have the right to cancel the purchase within 5 (five) business days of receiving the product, without providing a reason. A full refund will be issued.

4. Change of Mind Returns

Market Mix Digital offers a 7 (seven) day change of mind return policy, provided that the product is returned in its original, unused condition, the original packaging is intact, and proof of purchase is provided.

Please note: Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are for the customer's account. Market Mix Digital will only cover return shipping costs if the product is defective.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be returned unless defective:

  • Products that have been used, washed, or altered
  • Products without original packaging
  • Products purchased on clearance or marked as final sale
  • Products under the underwear category
  • Earrings and other jewellery

6. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us at returns@market-mix.co.za within the applicable return period
  2. Include your order number, reason for return, and photos if the product is defective
  3. We will respond with return instructions
  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you of the outcome

7. Refunds

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3–4 (three to four) business days
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a free return and offer you a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.

9. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for the same product in a different size or colour, subject to availability. Please contact us to arrange an exchange. Courier fees will be charged to the customer for exchanges.
